Ashesi Graduates its 10th class
Graduation was held in the “Cornfield Courtyard” covered by an enormous tarp in case of rain, and to provide shade. It was a beautiful day.
Students line up to march/dance in to drummers from the village.
Security was noticeable.
Nana, the village chief arrives. I like how Nana was invited to be an honored guest at graduation, and fun to see his obvious pride in what Ashesi has become, and the hope this campus, located above his village, brings to Africa.
Students waiting to graduate.
Nana and Casper (head of operations at Ashesi, and the graduation marshal) afterwards.
Marsha and Suzanne, after.
There is always time for a Faculty selfie
